The Countering the Playbook Prompt Template was inspired by the need to find a counter strategy to the Trump Administration's Flood the zone strategy. The template was developed to also be useful for countering other strategies by opportunistic actors. The goal is for users to input a specific strategy of an adversary, have GPT model the strategy as a complex system with subsystems, and then have GPT propose counter strategies.
